Hello everyone.

Self-presentation, always a tough nut to crack. I don't really know who I am. Like many of you, I assume, I'm in the process of figuring this out. It changes with my moods and with the seasons. If I sleep well, and the weather's nice, I shine with the sun and congratulate the world for being so Wondrous. In the depths of winter - when daylight fades around 15.30 pm here in nocturnal Norway - I might shake my fist at the icy black darkness above. Tho the early nights give the stars occasion to shine more often, and this can humble & soften the most miserable of moods.

Norway is the home of Ibsen, Turbonegro and Munch. Our most famous cultural export is The Scream. (That's amusing to me) Sometimes I feel familiarity with this tradition of dread and misanthropy. But I also believe the Light of the Lord stretches everywhere, and that anyone with the will can battle their way beyond and partake in the marvels and Mystery of life.  

In mundane everydayness, I live in an 18 m2 apartment that I refer to as my cell. I study philosophy and the history of ideas at the University of Oslo, and I've got a woeful acoustically indie-ish half-psychedelic band called genuine fakes. (which i've got to advertise www.myspace.com/genuinefakesband ) As a child I liked sports, then I got a guitar, became entheogenically involved,  and saw god. T'was good. I read Alan Watts, which changed everything, along with Kerouac, Ginsberg, Kesey and the like, while listening to Tool (Ænema one year straight), built to spill, neutral milk hotel, elliot smith, neil young and that whole family.  This led to buddhism, which led to Terence Mckenna, Robert Anton Wilson, Lao tzu,  Ken Wilber, et al, which led to all kinds of craziness. And now i'm here, proving too much selfinvolvement through writing such a long presentation of Me. Oh well.
